CLEAN - NATURAL PRODUCTS FROM the IVORY COAST
My interest in organic products came about when I visited Chàd and discovered camel milk. I realized that this product was not being represented in the African continent and decided to create awareness of its tremendous benefits.
While in Chad, I met Laurence – an Ivorian organic cacao and coffee farmer – and once I understood the amazing benefits of cacao, I teamed up with the TRANSPACI Associàtion.
This association is a group of farmers in the Ivory Coast, who promote best and safe practices in growing organic produce.
In South Africa, where I live now, I teamed up with an organic chemist to develop a range of organic and clean skin care products, by using camel milk and cacao butter imported from the Ivory Coast.
We also import and package clean organic chocolate, and essential oils for distribution throughout the African continent.
Women do about 70% of the work on Ivory Coast cacao farms , and receive very little money for their labour. Due to their extremely low income, they can’t afford to send their kids to school, or to have three meals per day.
